East Coast Institute of Taxidermy

We are proud to be one of only three licensed taxidermy schools in Pennsylvania, offering personalized instruction for students who want to build a career in professional taxidermy.

For over 22 years, instructor Brian McLaughlin has trained aspiring taxidermists using the same professional techniques trusted in his working taxidermy studio. With small class sizes, you'll receive one-on-one instruction while learning an array of professional taxidermy techniques inside his shop.

Conveniently located in Northeast Pennsylvania, just minutes from Interstates 80 and 81 near the Pocono Mountains, we welcome students from across Pennsylvania and the United States. Our 12-week full-time and part-time weekend taxidermy courses include all materials with no hidden costs, giving you everything you need to develop the skills and confidence to become a professional taxidermist.
